Walk for Gabi: 10 year memorial walk and fundraiser
Join Hope Walking founder Faye Smith and the Sheffield 40s Ramblers for this special walk in memory of Faye’s daughter Gabi, who died ten years ago this week, aged just 12.
This walk was one of Gabi's favourites because it included sampling Bakewell tart, llamas in a field and a hot chocolate from the village shop in Ashford. It's also the last walk Gabi ever did with her mum Faye and brother Zach just six days before her accident.
Faye warmly welcomes you to join her on this special Ramblers memorial walk. It's free, but all donations will go to the Ramblers' England Coast Path Appeal to create the world's longest continuous coastal trail: 2700 miles, of which half is approved or open to date. Gabi loved the coast. She loved people. She loved food. he would love this way of remembering her.
